Both parks are situated in ardamine, beside ardamine beach. The parks have been established since 1964. They are 5 miles from gorey town and 3 miles from exit 23 on the new gorey bypass. A village with a population of just under one thousand people, Courtown is a modern resort with many amenities. The harbour was built in 1830, by the Courtown family. Courtown is better known as the fishing village. Courtown is mainly made up of summer houses and caravan parks. In Ballygarrett, which is between Courtown and Kilmuckridge is known for crab fishing and its fine history.
It is an ideal base for cycling, fishing, horse riding etc. Park facilities include shop, chipper, play area, games room, electrical hook ups, showers, and toilet block and laundry facilities. It is fully lit and has 24 hour security. There are three markets that take place every weekend in Co. Wexford, which are not far from the caravan parks. One is the inch market which is located on the old Dublin road; this takes place every Saturday morning early. Then there is the farmers market, which is located in Goreys Community School every Saturday morning from early. Also a market takes place on the Wexford road called the Un yoke; it is a big market with everything and anything in it. It starts from 6.30am until 2.00pm.

In July theres the Adamstown agricultural show, the Kilmore quay seafood festival, Bannow and Rathangan show and a fishing festival. In august we have a sand sculpting competition and a Tagoat steam rally. September we have a piano festival in New Ross, and in October we have music for Wexford concert and an opera festival. |
